Shalini brings over a decade of experience across venture capital, entrepreneurship and community building — spanning venture funds, accelerators, startups and corporate environments.

As Founder and Managing Partner of Voltron, she invests in startups and collaborates with ambitious entrepreneurs, with a personal track record of 30+ investments including DealShare, Spotdraft and StockGro. She also coaches founders, professionals and leaders through The Art of Becoming, her 1:1 coaching engagement.

Previously, Shalini was Head of 500 Startups in India, leading investment activity across the country and managing a diverse portfolio.

Her recognition includes India’s “40 Under 40” Alternate Investment Professionals (2018), Business World’s top female investor (2022), and LinkedIn TopVoice (2017). She has spoken at Harvard, IIT Bombay, Facebook, Nasscom, Startup Grind and TEDx events, with commentary featured across CNBC, Economic Times, Mint and more.

Shalini is also the author of Clueless at 30. She holds an MS from the London School of Economics, an MBA from Liverpool Business School, and an engineering degree from RVCE Bangalore.

Amiya is a two-time founder with exits to Twitter and Coinbase, where he went on to hold senior product roles. An IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta alumnus, he is also CEO and Co-Founder of Ananant Systems, a deep-tech semiconductor company building indigenous 4G/5G small cell technology.

At Voltron, Amiya works shoulder-to-shoulder with founders on product, go-to-market, and fundraising — operating as the fractional co-founder he wishes he'd had in his own Day Zero years.
